About Me
Personalized Approach
I grew up as the barn kid, my mom was a riding instructor in Connecticut and so that is where
I spent my childhood. She would use me to test
new horses and do chores. I love working with the horses. That is my passion: to interact with the animal and to learn what each individual horse needs for foot care.
Excellence and Professionalism
I started apprentcing with a farrier in CT right out of high school and graduated from Pennsylvania Institute For Horseshoeing back in 2010. After that, I moved to Vermont and I worked with two other farriers, each with their different techniques. This has given me a broad base of techniques that I can pull from every day. In Vermont after three years I had 66 clients with horses that did a wide variety of work. I was contracted last year to work for Green Mountain Horse Assosiaction to work as a farrier for several events, including their competitive and endurance trail riding.
